  1. Just saw your email, my apologies…I have not kept up much on this blog in the last year.

Hi there. I was an Area Director in suburban Chicago for 15 years. Prior to that, I volunteered as a club leader for three years, and following my staff tenure I volunteered for three more. I am now an atheist. I know of several former YL leaders, kids, and staff people who are also non-believers. I have only recently discovered “Young Life Watch”. I am firmly of the opinion that YL manipulates kids, in general, but very much so at camp. I did it myself as a Program Director at camp and am ashamed of it. I’m trying to figure out how to post something on the site, but can’t quite figure out how to do it, other than leave a comment, as I am here. Can you give me some guidance? Nice to read your posts.

    • Welcome to Young Life watch. I think you would offer a unique perspective considering you were a program director. Please feel free to comment on any of the previous posts, if you’re interested in writing your own post I’d be interested in hearing what you have to say. Thanks for joining us

Sorry that I just now saw this. If I wanted to post some things, how would I do it?
